# Decentralization

> What is permissionless today and how control should diminish.

The market layer is designed without a manual token whitelist: anyone can create a pair, seed liquidity, and trade directly against deployed contracts.

Some operational settings exist during launch, including fee tiers, protocol fee recipient, interface manifests, and token evidence publication. Production policy should:

* assign contract ownership to a transparent multisig or governance system;
* publish every signer, delay, and permission;
* avoid admin powers that can seize pool assets or block token markets;
* keep safety labels informational and evidence-based;
* make the UI and configuration reproducible;
* announce changes before they take effect.

The website is one interface to the protocol, not the protocol itself.
