# Protocol fees

> Configurable pool fees and transparent protocol revenue.

Pool swap fees are expressed in basis points:

| Fee tier | Percentage |
| -------: | ---------: |
| 5 bps | 0.05% |
| 20 bps | 0.20% |
| 30 bps | 0.30% |
| 100 bps | 1.00% |

Allowed tiers and the default tier are defined per chain. The factory also stores a protocol share in basis points. Fee-related configuration and recipient addresses must be visible on-chain and published in the deployment registry.

KovaSwap revenue is intended to come from the protocol share of swaps executed through KovaSwap pools. Trades executed directly on external venues follow those venues’ fees.

## Aggregation and bridge routing

For Arc, Kova requests a direct route into native USDC. For Stable, Kova
requests a direct route into canonical USDT0. When a route is available, both
apply a `100 bps` (`1.00%`) integrator service fee inside the executable bridge
quote. A chain selector by itself does not imply that a live route exists.
Provider costs remain separate and are included in the quoted delivery amount.
The delivered stablecoin is also the destination chain's gas asset.

Bridge and swap fees are independent services and are never silently stacked in
one quote. Simply receiving bridged USDC or USDT0 does not trigger a swap fee.

## Private Pay

Kova Veil shielded deposits charge `100 bps` (`1.00%`) with a `0.0025 ETH` minimum. The greater value applies and there is no maximum fee amount. Private relay quotes add `15 bps` (`0.15%`) plus a current gas reimbursement. Self-submit carries no relay fee but exposes the submitting wallet and requires it to pay gas.

The pool's fee percentage cannot exceed 500 bps. Changing the fee recipient, percentage, or minimum requires a proposal followed by a 48-hour delay.

## Native launch curve

Pre-graduation Kova launch trades use a fixed 1.00% fee:

| Recipient | Share of trade |
| -------------------- | -------------: |
| Creator | 0.50% |
| KovaSwap | 0.30% |
| Graduation liquidity | 0.20% |

Creator fees accrue in both sides of the market and are claimable without custody. Creators can route their share across up to five wallets. The retained liquidity share migrates into the permanently locked V2 pool at graduation.
