# Harmful-token signals

> Flag objective risk without operating a token whitelist.

KovaSwap can display deterministic evidence such as:

* failed sell simulation or honeypot behavior;
* transfer taxes and mutable tax settings;
* owner-controlled minting, blacklisting, pausing, or transfer restrictions;
* upgradeable proxy control;
* unverified source code;
* concentrated holder distribution;
* low, unlocked, or removable liquidity;
* impersonation metadata and known malicious addresses.

Signals must include chain ID, token address, observation time, method, and evidence reference. A label can become stale when an upgradeable token changes.

<Warning>
  No scanner proves a token safe. Absence of a warning is not an endorsement. Users can still interact directly with a flagged market because the protocol is permissionless.
