Fees

The deposit fee is the greater of 1.00% or 0.0025 ETH. There is no maximum fee amount. The on-chain percentage can never exceed the immutable 500 bps ceiling. A fee change requires an on-chain proposal and a 48-hour delay before execution. The interface displays the deposit amount, protocol fee, relay fee, and total wallet debit before requesting approval.

What the proof hides

The proof does not reveal the private note owner key, note secret, nullifier secret, blinding value, or Merkle authentication path. Change-note secrets remain encrypted on the user’s device.

What remains public

  • pool deposit transaction, sender wallet, value, fee, commitment, and time;
  • settlement transaction and time;
  • recipient and public payout amount;
  • relayer address and relay fee when relayed;
  • nullifier and output commitment;
  • subsequent wallet activity.
Private Pay is not advertised as anonymous or untraceable. Strong privacy depends on user behavior, timing, amounts, wallet reuse, the size of the pool’s anonymity set, endpoint privacy, and information available outside the chain.

Operational data

The hosted database keeps only public chain state, signed quotes, transaction hashes, coarse service locks, and rotating rate-limit hashes. It does not store note secrets, witnesses, recipient CSVs, wallet signatures, encrypted vaults, or plaintext IP addresses.
